Acclaimed critic and editor Ruth Reichl has been writing about food for more than four decades:  at New West magazine, the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, and as editor in chief of Gourmet. Now she turns her hand to fiction, with a novel about a courageous food writer who moves to New York city to work at a food magazine (Delicious!).
