This – a not so simple piece of bread (served with amazing butter), may be the most delicious morsel I’ve eaten all week. It was the bread course at Alo, a terrific new Toronto restaurant.
And this “beefsteak burger” at the nearby Beefsteak.
I’m convinced, by the way, that vegetarian fast food joints that rely on organic and local ingredients, are one of the waves of the future.
