These are lovely. I so miss Gourmet. When I was a brand new lieutenant in the Army stationed in Germany, and away from my family for the first time, Gourmet became my go-to place for cooking. You can say I learned to cook and take risks in the kitchen by reading Gourmet magazine. Thank you for sharing these precious memories.
